What we eat has a great impact on how we feel, how our body functions and what others see.

By making changes to the composition of a meal, it is possible to improve your body composition and improve your general health by helping you to lose excess body fat, but how you best achieve that is what I’m here for.

I don’t have a ‘one size fits all’ approach.  You are unique and you deserve to be treated as such.  My tailored and personalised nutrition plans ensure you get the best results possible, using a method that suits you and your lifestyle.

My recommendations ARE tailored to you and your lifestyle/family situation.  We can at any time make changes to your program (if necessary) unlike many off the shelf programs.

Even if you have clinical conditions such as Diabetes, PCOS, Peri/Menopause, suffer with IBS or need help to improve your diet because of Cardio Vascular disease, I can help you.

In addition, I can also help you with nutritional support before, during and post pregnancy, look at nutrition in retirement, carry our general diet review to help with post weight loss maintenance, stress management and even help you improve your relationship with food.

Last weekend I had the pleasure of attending the 2023 MNU Menstrual Cycle and Menopause Conference. 

Having started my own personal experience with medical menopause brought on by a hysterectomy while I was studying with MNU in 2018, I was particularly interested in the talk given by Dr Nicky Keay, a medical doctor with clinical and research experience in sports endocrinology. 

Listening to Dr Keay has given me a more positive outlook and provided me with lots of answers with regard to my own personal experience of menopause over the 5 years, having unexplained aches, pains, anxiety and brain fog to name but a few.

No shortcuts, quick fixes, or hormone 'manipulation'. Sitting still and hoping things will be better because my HRT is has taken over in replacing that which my body can no longer produce due to my surgery.

There are things I can/need/will do to further support my mind and body in midlife and there's no better time than now to put that into action!

I love this quote from Henry Ford - "The greatest amount of wasted time is the time not getting started." 

This quote emphasises the importance of getting started, even if we don't have all the answers or a perfect plan. It reminds us that progress is made through taking the first step.

Moreover there was lots in the way of salad to enjoy……. lettuce, tomato, cucumber, radish, broccoli, red cabbage, white cabbage, carrot, green lentils, chickpeas, dried cranberries, cashews, chicken breast, mortadella, EV olive oil.

Good satiating meal, snacks later not required!
